Jeremy Linn - Gold 1, Gold 2

In his 40+ years of swimming experience, Linn has had the opportunity to learn from many of the greatest swimming minds ever. Combining that elite-level experience with a degree in psychology, Linn has created theories and philosophies of swimming and competition that he delivers like only he can

In his four years at the University of Tennessee, Jeremy Linn fulfilled every dream an athlete could have. The Harrisburg, Pa., native set records, won both team and individual championships and carried the name of Tennessee swimming into international competition. A three-time SEC Swimmer of the Year, he became only the third athlete to win the same event, the 100-yard breaststroke, for four consecutive years at the conference championship meet.

On the NCAA championship stage, Linn was no less spectacular. Linn won a total of nine titles, four of them as an individual. All told, Linn won 17 All-America honors in his four years at UT.

Jeremy then proved himself to be one of the top breaststroke swimmers in the world. At the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Jeremy won the silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke, establishing an American record in 1:00.77. Linn also played a vital role on America’s gold medal-winning 400-meter medley relay that shaved two seconds off the USA’s 8-year-old world record.

He began the Gold 1 training group for Nation’s Capital Swim Club “WEST” in 2008. In his 15 years with the team, he has led his arm of the club to being a tremendous contributor to NCAP’s overall competitive success. In this time hailing from WEST there have been numerous USAS Scholastic All Americans, 5 National Select Camp swimmers, 20 Olympic trial qualifiers, 4 National JR Team members, and 1 athlete named to the National Team for the 2023 Pan Am Games.

Coach Jeremy has been a staff member for the United States during the 2021 National JR Team trip World Cup meets in Berlin & Budapest. He will also be a USA staff member to the 2023 Pan Am Games team when they go to Santiago Chile in October or 2023. In addition, Jeremy sits on the USAS Coach’s Athlete Council (CAC) as a 10-year National Team member representative.

Jeremy proudly & humbly serves NCAP as its head coach.
